General Review of the Course
The location of the course, bordering the coastline of the city, and the design carried out by Dr. Alister Mackenzie, provide a framework of both hierarchy and distinction that can be found in very few cities. The greens are broad and bunkers very well protect most of them; the tree-lined fairways are quite narrow in some cases, whilst several holes have out of bounds.
Description of the most interesting holes of the course:
Hole number 2, a par 4 of 447 yards with out of bounds to the left, wide fairway and a cross bunker at the level of the 200 yards.
Hole number 14, a par 5 of 531 yards with out of bounds to the left, a water Hazard 60 yards to the green and Bunkers at both sides of the green.
Hole number 16 has been recognized by Golf Magazine as one of the 500 Best holes in the World.
